The Southmen Quartet remain true to the roots of mainstream Southern Gospel. Truly genuine Christian gentlemen, on a musical missionary journey in the life with the good news of Christ in joyful song! I appreciate these fellows, and enjoy playing them from time to time on WPET. Thanks for all years of dedication, blessings, and great Southern Gospel music!

Hi, Southmen... Don't have the vocabulary to tell you how much I enjoyed your concerts this week at Dollywood! Saw you three times...Now, what does that tell you? Sunday afternoon was especially great! I laughed at Jim's humorous stories until I cried! I want to keep in touch so that any time you're within driving distance I can attend you concert again.

Enjoyed seeing and hearing the Southmen for the very first time on a chilly morning at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. After hearing so much technologically enhanced music and singing these days, it is refreshing to know that there is a gospel group that gets back to the basics with pure harmonies and familiar songs that many of us grew up with. Jim Hefner's dry wit had me laughing and crying at the same time. Can't wait to hear you again!
